Precision OEM OE Specification Match
Developed based on BYD Yuan Pro original vehicle data, with OE reference number SCEG-2803111. Clip positions and bumper curvature fully match OEM specifications for direct installation without modification .
OEM Front Protection Structure Fitment
The Yuan Pro front end features a double-layer roll-formed steel bumper beam with a thickness of 1.62mm, covering 61.58% of the front end. This front bumper upper assembly precisely fits the original bumper beam structure for even gaps and tight fitment after installation .
PP Plastic Injection Molding
Made from PP (polypropylene) via injection molding, offering excellent impact resistance and flexibility. Effectively absorbs energy during low-speed collisions to protect the front body structure .
Disconnect the negative battery cable before operation. The front bumper integrates fog lamps and radar sensors (if equipped). Disconnect power before unplugging connectors to avoid fault codes or module damage.
Professional technician operation recommended. Front bumper assembly replacement involves multiple clips and wiring. Lack of experience may cause clip breakage or paint scratches.
Open the engine hood and remove the retaining screws on the front bumper. These screws are typically hidden in the gap between the hood and the front bumper.
Remove the retaining clips on both sides of the front bumper. These clips are usually located in front of the tires and can be found by hand.
Remove the bottom mounting screws, wheel arch liner clips on both sides, and upper front fascia retaining clips in sequence to gradually loosen the bumper.
After the front bumper assembly is loosened, smoothly disconnect the wiring harness connectors on the bumper. If equipped with fog lamps, disconnect the fog lamp connectors. Remove the front bumper assembly from the vehicle and place it on a soft protective sheet to avoid paint scratches.
After the front bumper is fully removed, remove the old front bumper upper assembly. The upper section is secured by clips on the bumper frame. Slowly and carefully release each clip one by one—excessive force may break the clips.
Align the new front bumper upper assembly for precise positioning, then engage the retaining clips one by one, ensuring flatness and fitment match original standards. After assembly, recheck that all clips are fully locked in position, confirming no misalignment, no lifting, and no looseness.
Align the front bumper assembly with the body mounting position and reconnect the front wiring harness connectors. Reinstall all retaining screws and exterior clips in sequence. Carefully adjust left-right gaps and up-down flushness for even gaps and clean body lines. After confirming all clips are fully engaged, tighten screws to specification.
After installation, visually inspect that the front bumper upper is securely installed, the surface is flat, and gaps are even. Confirm uniform gaps between the front bumper, body, and headlights. Test the fog lamps (if equipped) for proper operation.
