MY-3110 DC Winding Resistance Tester is designed to measure DC resistance of inductive devices,
such as transformers and power inductors. It has features of fast

FAQ
Question 1: Abnormal reading / Unstable resistance measurement
value
Customer: When measuring the winding DC resistance of the
transformer, the displayed resistance value keeps fluctuating and
cannot get a stable reading after waiting for a long time. What are
the possible reasons?
Manufacturer: First check whether the test clips are tightly
clamped on the transformer winding terminals, remove surface oxide
layer, paint and dirt on the contact points to ensure good metal
contact. Confirm the transformer has been fully power-off and
discharged completely, residual electromotive force will interfere
with the measurement result. Check if the test cables have internal
breakage or poor contact. Restart the instrument and re-connect the
test leads. If the reading is still unstable, stop the test and
contact technical support. Do not disassemble the instrument by
yourself.
Question 2: Instrument fails to start / Cannot power on
Customer: After pressing the power button, the transformer winding
resistance analyzer does not light up and cannot start the machine.
How to troubleshoot?
Manufacturer: Check whether the battery power is exhausted. If
using the rechargeable version, connect the matching power adapter
to charge the instrument for 30 minutes then try to boot again.
Inspect the power adapter and charging cable for damage or loose
plug connection. Check the power switch and charging port for dust
and corrosion. If charging still cannot activate the device, stop
operation and contact technical support. Do not open the instrument
shell for inspection.
Question 3: Test prompt overcurrent / Overcurrent alarm appears
during measurement
Customer: The instrument triggers overcurrent alarm immediately
after starting the winding resistance test, and the test cannot
continue. What leads to this problem?
Manufacturer: Immediately cut off the test output and stop the
test. Check whether the test wires are short-circuited to each
other. Confirm the transformer winding has no internal
short-circuit fault. Verify the test range and output current
setting match the transformer specification; using excessive test
current for small-capacity transformers will trigger overcurrent
protection. Check whether the test clips accidentally touch the
ground or other metal parts. Recheck wiring and restart the test.
If the alarm repeats, contact technical support. Do not modify the
internal protection circuit.
Question 4: Data cannot be saved / Saved test data missing
Customer: After completing the transformer winding resistance test,
I cannot save the measured data, or the saved data disappears after
restarting the instrument. What should I do?
Manufacturer: Confirm there is enough storage space inside the
instrument. Check whether the data storage function is enabled in
the system menu. If saving to external USB flash drive, verify the
USB disk format is compatible and the USB interface is
well-connected. Avoid cutting off power suddenly during data saving
operation. If the built-in storage fails, back up data timely via
USB export. If the fault still exists, contact technical support.
Do not format the storage disk without guidance.
Question 5: Big deviation between measured value and factory
standard value
Customer: The measured winding resistance value is obviously
different from the transformer factory test report, and the error
exceeds the allowable range. What causes this large deviation?
Manufacturer: Confirm the transformer winding temperature has
stabilized, DC resistance is greatly affected by temperature, and
temperature conversion calculation is required. Check the
connection sequence of test terminals, wrong wiring will produce
wrong measurement results. Make sure all winding taps are placed at
the correct tap position during testing. Eliminate the influence of
residual magnetism of the transformer. Reconnect the test leads and
perform repeated measurement. If the deviation still exists, stop
testing and contact technical support. Do not modify the instrument
calibration parameters without authorization.
Question 6: Shipping Method
Customer: If we place an order, how do you typically ship the
goods? Will there be any issues with transporting bulky items such
as reactors?
Manufacturer: We default to using dedicated logistics lines or
brand-specific express shipping services; small-sized main units
and accessories may also be shipped via standard courier services.
Large items, such as reactors and excitation transformers, are
packed using wooden crates or wooden frames for reinforcement to
prevent bumps and moisture exposure during transit; a packing list
is included with each package to facilitate item-by-item counting
for you. Logistics costs are typically determined by both parties
in accordance with the contract terms; after shipment, we will send
you both the tracking number and the carrier's contact phone number
for easy tracking.If your project site is remote or if delivery to
the site is required with a specified logistics company, please
inform us in advance when placing your order; we can then
coordinate and arrange accordingly.

heavy in weight—components such as the reactor and excitation
transformer are all classified as heavy components. Therefore,
regardless of which state or region the shipment is destined for,
we will uniformly utilize sea freight transportation. The packaging

along with moisture-proof and rust-proof treatments; the design of
