The MHT02-0412C quick walnut sorting machine uses a shadowless lamp system to eliminate this problem. Every kernel receives uniform illumination. Color grading accuracy rises. Standard fluorescent or LED lighting in sorting machines creates shadow zones where kernel surfaces receive uneven illumination. The AI reads the shadow as a darker color and misclassifies the kernel. That costs you premium grade yield. The MHT02-0412C's shadowless lamp provides diffuse, even light from multiple directions simultaneously. Shadows cannot form on the kernel surface. The four cameras capture the true color of every point on every kernel. The deep learning AI grades on real color data, not lighting artifacts. Light Amber kernels that carry a surface shadow do not accidentally grade as Amber. Extra Light Halves do not drop into the Light Amber bin.
