Product Description
The ASME SA179 carbon steel wound fin tube (KL type) is
manufactured by tightly winding an Aluminium 1060 strip around the base carbon steel tube. The foot of each fin strip is knurled (K) into the tube surface to improve bonding strength, and then the
strip is tension wound (L) along the tube length to ensure close contact and excellent
thermal conductivity. This construction provides a reliable
combination of mechanical strength and heat transfer efficiency, ideal for air coolers and other heat exchanger systems.
