Application

Target Vehicles: Semi-trailers, large trucks, and other commercial vehicles primarily used on public roads.
Regulations: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108 mandates the use of DOT-C2 reflective tape. This standard specifies the tape's reflectivity, durability, and mounting location on vehicles.
Mounting Location: The tape must be applied continuously along the rear and sides of the trailer, outlining the trailer's shape for easy identification at night. The tape must cover a certain percentage of the vehicle's length and width.
Color: DOT-C2 tape is typically red and white, providing high visibility and contrast. The red portion is typically located at the bottom, with the white portion located above.
Durability: DOT-C2 tape is designed to be durable and weather-resistant, capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions and maintaining its reflectivity over time.
