The SH017A automatic paraffin penetration tester/instrument is designed and manufactured according to the requirements specified in the GB/T4985-2021 standard. It is a specialized instrument for testing paraffin penetration, integrating mechanical, optoelectronic, and micro detection technologies. The lifting arm automatically lifts and lowers, the touch screen fine tunes the distance, automatically determines the result, and automatically prints.

The standard test conditions are as follows: the petroleum wax sample is placed in a constant temperature water bath maintained at the test temperature, and a standard needle assembly with a total load of 100 grams ± 0.05 grams is vertically moved without obvious friction. The depth at which the petroleum wax sample is vertically penetrated within 5 seconds is called the petroleum wax needle penetration to determine the hardness of the petroleum wax.
