The automotive air filter (AAF) is the "first line of defense" in the engine's air intake system. High-Efficiency Filtration

1. Filtered Objects: Airborne dust (particle size 5-50μm), sand, road dust, pollen, insect debris, leaf fibers, and other solid impurities. In extreme environments, it may also filter small amounts of water mist (to prevent moisture from entering the cylinder and affecting combustion).
2. Filtration Accuracy: Mainstream air filters have an interception efficiency of over 95% for impurities ≥10μm and ≥85% for fine dust 5-10μm. This accuracy prevents impurities from scratching the cylinder walls (resulting in reduced air tightness and accelerated oil loss), wearing piston rings (causing oil burning), and clogging spark plugs (causing misfires and reduced power).
