Pointek CLS200 - Standard Capacitance Level Switch
The Pointek CLS200 (standard version) is a versatile inverse
frequency shift capacitance level and material detection switch
with configurable rod/cable options and output configurations.
Ideal for detecting liquids, solids, slurries, foam, and
interfaces, this switch features advanced tuning capabilities to
ignore buildup on the probe.

Applications
The Pointek CLS200 standard version features three LED indicators
with basic relay and solid-state switch alarms. This universal
switch handles solids, liquids, and interface detection
applications. The galvanically isolated power supply accepts a wide
voltage range (12 to 250 V AC/DC). When used with thermal isolator,
the stainless steel and PPS (PVDF optional) probe materials provide
temperature ratings up to 125°C (257°F) on process-wetted portions.
The switch detects materials with dielectric constants of 1.5 or
higher by monitoring changes in oscillating frequency, with
settings for detection before contact or on contact. The CLS200
operates independently of tank walls or pipes, eliminating the need
for external reference electrodes in non-conductive vessels like
concrete or plastic.
