Overview

HFW refers to High-Frequency Welding, a process used to create tubes by welding the edges of a strip of material using high-frequency electrical currents. This allows the tube to have a smooth surface and a high degree of strength, suitable for use in applications that demand reliability under pressure and temperature extremes.

Finned Tubes are tubes equipped with extended surfaces (fins) that are welded, soldered, or mechanically attached to the tube to increase the surface area for heat transfer.

In Alloy Steel HFW Finned Tubes, the finned design significantly boosts the heat transfer rate by providing a larger area for the transfer of heat between the fluid inside the tube and the surrounding air or external fluid.
