The specific working principle of the common rail nozzle

Fuel supply and pressure build-up

The common rail injector supplies fuel to the common rail through a high-pressure pump. Under the action of the high-pressure pump, the fuel is pressurized to a very high pressure, usually reaching 2000 - 2500 bar. The high pressure is continuously maintained inside the common rail to provide power for fuel injection.

Pressure regulating valve: Located between the fuel pump and the high-pressure common rail, it controls the operation of the pump according to the signals sent by the ECU to maintain a constant pressure in the common rail.
