1. Lightweight and compact design (core European features):

3. Optimized wheel arrangement and load:

Double-wheel or four-wheel design: For larger tonnages such as 40 tons, the end beam usually adopts a double-flange wheel x 2 sets (a total of 4 wheels) design, or even an 8-wheel design (two balancing trolleys on each side, two wheels on each trolley). This can effectively disperse the wheel pressure, adapt to larger tonnage loads, reduce the pressure on the track, and reduce the cost requirements of the track and foundation.

High-strength wheels and bearings: The wheels are made of high-quality cast steel or forged steel, and the surface is quenched to improve wear resistance and load-bearing capacity. Bearings usually use heavy-duty spherical roller bearings, which can withstand large loads and allow a certain amount of track installation errors.

Angular bearing box: The wheels are usually installed in angular (or square) bearing boxes, which are convenient for adjusting the horizontal and vertical deflection of the wheels, ensuring good contact between the wheels and the rails and reducing the phenomenon of gnawing the rails.

4. Strong and stable box beam structure:

The main body of the end beam is usually a closed box structure welded from steel plates, which has excellent bending and torsional rigidity, can effectively withstand various dynamic loads during crane operation (especially the horizontal inertia force when the trolley starts and brakes) and the torque generated by possible skew operation, ensuring the stability and operation accuracy of the whole machine.
