1.Q: What's the difference between THHN and THWN-2?
A: THHN is rated for dry locations (90°C) while THWN-2 can be used in both wet and dry locations (90°C wet/75°C dry). THWN-2 has additional water resistance properties.

2.Q: Can THHN/THWN-2 cable be used outdoors?
A: Yes, but only the THWN-2 rated version can be used outdoors or in wet locations when properly installed in conduit. THHN alone is not suitable for outdoor use.

3.Q: What types of installations is this wire suitable for?
A: It's ideal for conduit and cable tray installations in commercial/industrial buildings, control panels, machine wiring, and general power distribution when installed according to NEC guidelines.
