Electric single girder suspension crane 10ton Material Handling
LX-type
1. Core advantage: efficient use of space (same as 6.3 tons but
more important)
Suspended installation: The track is fixed to the lower flange of
the factory frame or special support structure (H-shaped steel,
etc.), and the crane is suspended under it for operation.
No ground columns: Completely release the ground space, and
forklifts, AGVs, and production lines are more freely laid out.
Maximize the height of the factory: Especially suitable for
workshops, warehouses, and assembly lines with high clearance but
tight ground space or many columns.
2. Core changes: upgraded load capacity (10 tons)
The rated lifting capacity is increased to 10 tons, which is
suitable for handling heavier workpieces, equipment, large molds or
batches of materials. This is the most significant difference.
3. Stronger structure (key difference point)
Main beam:
Larger cross-section/thicker steel plate: The dimensions of the
box-type main beam (height, width, web/cover thickness) are
significantly increased to withstand greater bending and shear
stresses. The steel material requirements may also be higher.
Higher rigidity requirements: Prevent the main beam from deflecting
too much when running at full load, which will affect the use and
safety.
End beam:
Stronger load-bearing capacity: The structure is more solid, and
the calculated wheel pressure is much higher than 6.3 tons.
Larger drive mechanism: The motor power, reducer specifications,
and brake size of the trolley are correspondingly increased.
Wheel set: The wheel diameter, rim size, and bearing specifications
are all larger, which can withstand greater wheel pressure and
impact. More wheels may be required (such as four-wheel or
eight-wheel drive).
Track:
Larger model: I-beam tracks with stronger load-bearing capacity
must be used (such as I32a, I36a, I40a, etc., which need to be
calculated specifically), and even special QU crane rails may be
required. The selection and installation and fixing requirements of
the track are extremely strict.
Track fixing: The specifications, quantity, and strength of the
fixing bolts/clamps must be strictly calculated and certified to
ensure that they can withstand huge vertical and horizontal forces
(starting and braking, skewed operation).
4. Drive and operation (higher power, slightly lower speed)
Electric hoist:
Higher power: The lifting motor power of a 10-ton hoist is much
greater than that of a 6.3-ton hoist.
Stronger structure: The specifications of key components such as
drum, wire rope (larger diameter, such as Φ15mm or above), hook
assembly (10-ton class), reducer, brake, etc. are fully upgraded.
Braking safety requirements are higher, usually requiring double
braking (working brake + safety brake).
Lifting speed: The full-load lifting speed may be slightly slower
than that of a 6.3-ton hoist to ensure safety and stability.
Trolley/cart operation:
The driving motor power is increased, and the reducer
specifications are upgraded.
The operating speed (trolley/cart) may be designed to be slightly
more conservative than that of a small tonnage when fully loaded to
control the starting and braking inertia force to ensure smooth
operation and structural safety.
