Product Description
The plough knife mixer is an efficient powder mixing equipment.
Inside the cylinder of the machine, there is a plough knife type
mixer. During operation, the plough knives rotate at high speed,
throwing the materials up to form a fluidized state. At the same
time, the axial blades push the materials to move in a
circumferential direction along the inner wall of the cylinder.
Combined with the fly knife group, it performs shearing and
dispersion on the agglomerated materials, achieving uniform mixing
of various powders and granular materials within a short period of
time. It is widely used in the material mixing processes of
industries such as chemical engineering, food, medicine, and
building materials.
Working Principle
The working principle of the plough mixer is based on the
coordinated action of multi-dimensional mechanical movements. The
plough blades inside the cylinder rotate at a high speed of 60-100
revolutions per minute, throwing the materials up and forming a
fluidized ejection movement. At the same time, the axial blades
push the materials to move in a circumferential circulation along
the cylinder wall, and the scraper guides the materials to flow up
and down. For agglomerated materials, the two-sided flying blade
groups shear and break the lumps at a rotational speed of 2000-3000
revolutions per minute, enabling the materials to achieve a uniform
mixing with a precision of over 99% in a turbulent state through
diffusion and convection.
Structural features
In terms of structural design, the plough mixer exhibits distinct
functional characteristics. The U-shaped or trough-shaped cylinder
is made of stainless steel with wear-resistant properties, and its
inner wall is polished to reduce material adhesion. The top flange
for feeding and the bottom butterfly valve for discharging achieve
an automated process. The main shaft is equipped with multiple sets
of wear-resistant plough blades, and the angles of the two sides'
flying blades can be adjusted independently and driven separately.
It is also paired with a high-strength alloy steel main shaft and a
variable-frequency transmission system. Additionally, labyrinth
seals or mechanical seals are combined with dust collection
interfaces to effectively control dust leakage, meeting the clean
production requirements of industries such as chemical and
pharmaceuticals.

liquid spraying devices, etc., to achieve "mixing + reaction"
