LRPL-II ASTM E 1530 Series Thermal Conductivity Tester (Plate Heat Flux Meter Method)

1.Description:
This instrument adopts the internationally popular method of using thermal flow meters to measure thermal conductivity. It is equipped with a computer to achieve fully automatic testing. It is a re-designed version based on our original DRPL-1 model, and is suitable for testing the thermal conductivity of various common materials.
This instrument is based on the steady-state plate method testing principle. A stable temperature is added to the hot surface, and the heat passes through the sample to the cold surface. The transferred heat flux is measured. Then, the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance can be calculated based on the thickness of the sample and the heat transfer area. This testing method is simple, fast, and has good repeatability. It is very suitable for research and development in material heat transfer. It can be used for testing of plastics, rubber, graphite, insulation materials, etc., and is widely applied in universities, research institutes, quality inspection, factories and mines.
2.Standard

ASTM E1530-06 is a testing standard for evaluating the heat conduction resistance of materials using protected thermal flow meter technology; GB/T 29313-2012 is the test method for thermal conductivity performance of electrical insulating materials; ASTM C518-04 is the test method for determining steady-state heat flux and heat transfer characteristics using thermal flow meter; GB 10295-2008 is the test method for determining steady-state thermal resistance and related properties of insulation materials (using thermal flow meter).
