IEC60529 Clause 14.2.3 and Clause 14.2.4 IPX3 and IPX4 Ingress Protection Testing Hand-Held Spray Nozzle

1. Introduction

The IPX3 and IPX4 Ingress Protecting Tester, named as IPX3 and IPX4 Hand-held Spray Nozzle, is designed and manufactured according to IEC60529, IEC60598-1, GB4208, GB7000.1, GB17761 standards. It is suitable for waterproof testing of outdoor electrical and electronic products in terms of rain and water spray, and for waterproof testing of products by certification and testing agencies and manufacturers. The shower is mainly composed of a brass nozzle, a movable water baffle, a counterweight, a pressure gauge and a stainless steel valve. The back-end water supply system is not covered by this specification.
