Insoluble in water, alcohol, soluble in concentrated acid, hot strong acid. Magnetic. The tinting power and hiding power are high. Good resistance to light and atmosphere. No water permeability and no oil permeability. It is very stable in general organic solvents. Good alkali resistance. Heat-resistant to 100°C, it is easy to be oxidized when heated at high temperatures and turns into red iron oxide.

1.pigments: Iron oxide yellow is an important pigment that is often used in the preparation of paints, coatings, ceramics and stained glass.
2.filler: Iron oxide yellow has high wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and is often used as a filling material, such as rubber products, rubber flooring, plastic products, etc.
3.catalyst: Iron oxide yellow plays a catalytic role in some chemical reactions and is used as a catalyst for the synthesis of ammonia.
