GPC Graphitized Petroleum Coke Carbon Additive Used In Steel Making Process As Carbon Raiser

Petroleum coke is a product obtained by distilling crude oil to separate light and heavy oil, and then thermally cracking the heavy oil. From the appearance, the coke is black fish lumps (or particles) with irregular shapes and sizes. Metallic luster, coke particles have a porous structure, the main element composition is carbon accounting for 80WT% (WT is the English abbreviation of WEIGHT means the weight percentage, 5%WT is equivalent to 15000MCPM in millions of content) above, The rest are hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and metal elements. Petroleum coke has its unique physical, chemical and mechanical properties. It is the non-volatile carbon volatiles and mineral impurities (sulfur, metal compounds, water, ash etc.) These indicators determine the chemical properties of coke

Application of Calcined Petroleum Coke

1: as refractory material as conductive material
2: As a wear-resistant lubricating material
3: Good chemical stability
4: For cast iron/foundation molding and high temperature metallurgy,
5: Used in atomic energy industry and defense industry
6: Prevent boiler scaling
