SMD Component Counter: Cold/Hot Sealing Embossed Carrier Tape for LED Packing

Introduction

Function: Embossed carriers are used for packaging components, protecting integrated circuits and other equipment from physical and electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage during transportation and storage. Carrier belts are widely used in presentation devices to pick up and place machines, thereby automatically placing them on printed circuit boards.

The carrier is made of polystyrene, polycarbonate, and PET. The carrier has different conductivity and anti-static properties, suitable for different component applications. The carrier tape has pockets that match the contour of the components to be carried. The width of the carrier is between 8 and 104 millimeters, and we can also customize it according to customer needs.

The entire packaging reel includes a carrier tape, a cover tape, and an outer roll. The customer uses a manual or automatic winding machine to pick up the components into the carrier tape, while using a cover tape to tightly cover the components to protect and secure them in the tape. Finally, the packaging is completed into a complete reel.

We also manufacture reels by injection moulding. They are made of polystyrene in different sizes and designs. We can also produce them in anti-static or conductive options under the requirements

Application

The embossed carrier tapes are widely used in the surface packaging, carrying and transmission of the surface mounting equipments,for example, the mini PCB , IC ,LED chip, connectors, diodes, dynatrons, resistors, conductors, capacitors, fuses, switches, relays, resonators, radome, socket component,etc.
