The API metal coupling is an internally threaded cylinder for connecting two threaded
pipes. It is an integral part of the tubing and casing. Each tubing
or casing should be equipped with an API coupling. The casing with
different thread types selects different types of this fitting.
Therefore, the product is mainly divided into buttress thread and
round thread types, which correspond to buttress and round thread
casing respectively.
