Flat gabions, called river or Renault mattresses, are widely used in river courses and civil engineering industries. The gabion net can be also used for slope support, foundation pit support, mountain rock surface shotcrete, slope planting (greening), railway expressway isolation and protection block. It can also be made into box cages and net mats, which can be used for erosion protection of rivers, dams and seawalls, and for the closure of reservoirs and rivers.
