Description

The purpose of clutch release bearings is to facilitate the transfer or cessation of the driving force. When the driving force is turned off, the clutch release bearing is subjected to a powerful force from the rapidly rotating diaphragm spring, causing it to rotate abruptly. If the centers of rotation of the diaphragm spring and the clutch release bearing are significantly misaligned, there may be excessive heat and wear on the contact surfaces, which can significantly impact the clutch's performance. Self-aligning clutch release bearings are specifically designed to prevent this abnormal heat and wear from occurring.

Clutch release bearings that use steel plate presses for their bearing rings decrease the overall vehicle weight and contribute to lower fuel consumption.
