The double tube sheet heat exchanger is a relatively new structure at present. There is a tube sheet at the end of the heat exchange tube, called the outer tube sheet, which doubles as the equipment flange and is connected with the heat exchange tube and the tube box flange respectively. There is also a tube sheet near the end of the heat exchange tube, called the inner tube sheet, which is connected to the heat exchange tube and the shell side respectively. There is a certain distance between the outer tube sheet and the inner tube sheet, and they are connected by a Huff short joint to form an isolation cavity that is not under pressure.

There are two types of double tube sheet heat exchangers, straight tube type double tube sheet heat exchanger (SS-I type) and U type double tube sheet heat exchanger (SS-II type). The straight-tube double-tube sheet heat exchanger adopts a reducing and quick-installing interface, which effectively avoids the retention of chemical liquid at the connection between the heat exchanger and the pipeline, and realizes true full emptying. Design. U-shaped double tube sheet heat exchanger adopts U-shaped heat exchange tube, and the material is discharged from the lowest point of the bottom shell to avoid liquid retention
