First, the wooden model is meshed, and the position coordinates of the nodes are obtained by using a coordinate measuring instrument. Or directly divide the grid in the computer from the CAD model. Assuming that the thickness of the stamping part remains constant during the forming process, and the area of the grid before and after deformation is constant, the three-dimensional space grid is mapped to the two-dimensional plane, so that the initial blank shape and the stress distribution of the workpiece can be inferred.

3. Simulation method:

The simulation method is based on the similarity of mathematical descriptions of many physical problems under certain assumptions, through mathematical similarity theory, and using models composed of other physical media to simulate the metal flow of sheet metal flanges.
