The upper ceiling of the FFU is negative pressure, which can play a negative pressure sealing role. The air pressure in the ceiling is negative pressure, and the air pressure in the cleanliness is greater than the pressure in the ceiling space. If there is a gap between the FFU and the bracket seal, the negative pressure will prevent the air not passing through the HEPA filter from entering the room, which is conducive to ensuring the cleanliness of the clean room.

The resistance of the air system is small, the wind speed at the air outlet is low, and the windward area of the FFU is large, and the air flow resistance is about 50Pa; The sectional area of the return air duct is also large, and the resistance of the return air duct is within 15Pa; The resistance of perforated floor and grille is small. The total resistance of return air (including perforated floor and grille air duct), FFU resistance and final filter resistance is less than 250Pa. The FFU outlet wind speed is generally 0.38~0.45m/s.

Low energy consumption per unit air volume After FFU is adopted, there is no need to add a booster fan and a special machine room, and the resistance of the air supply pipeline is avoided. When DC/EC (electronic rectifier) motor is adopted for FFU, the efficiency of motor can reach 75%~80%, and each set can conduct speed regulation control according to filter voltage drop to save energy consumption. Therefore, the energy consumption per unit air volume is generally lower than the centralized system of large centrifugal fans.
