Worm Gear Slewing Drive Description

The slew drive is an upgraded product of slew bearings, which is usually composed of worm, turbo-type slew bearings, housing and power resource. Housing which use high-quality cast steel has a very high strength, worm gear uses 42CrMo and glow ion nitriding, its wear resistance strength is higher, hardness stronger and service life longer compared to the domestic traditional gas nitriding 50Mn material, and other domestic envelope worm. In the actual operation process, the slewing drive, as a transmission bearing component, has to bear great axial force, radial force and overturning moment. In order to meet the requirements of use, the solar thermal slewing drive needs to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity while having extremely high slewing accuracy.
