New 2-Layer PCB with Taconic Cer-10 Laminate for Microwave Frequencies
We are excited to introduce a new 2-layer PCB built using Taconic Cer-10 laminates. This organic-ceramic PTFE composite material provides excellent high frequency performance with a dielectric constant of 10 and low loss of 0.0035 at 10GHz. It withstands continuous operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
The board features a 0.762mm (30 mil) Cer-10 core and 35μm copper on both sides. This controlled impedance construction optimizes the PCB for microwave frequencies up to 10GHz.
With dimensions of 75.58mm x 67.67mm, the layout supports 27 components within 64 pads and 51 vias across just 3 nets. The 4/6 mil minimum trace/space enables dense routing.
