This series of flange attenuator has the same appearance as a regular fiber optic adapter. It achieves attenuation of optical signal by setting up an attenuation film inside a fiber optic adapter to ensure incomplete touch with fiber connectors. Due to this principle, the flange attenuator is a great fiber optic attenuation solution for fiber optic patch cords in an optical link.

These flange optical attenuators are only suitable for fiber optic connectors with PC type ferrule end face. The attenuation value can be 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15 and 20dB, and thus our fixed attenuators are applicable for optical signal with wavelength ranging from 1250nm to 1600nm.
