Product Introduction

WQ-PR-5100 is a water-based modified petroleum resin emulsion. It is suitable for epoxy ester, alkyd, epoxy and other resin systems to give water-based coatings quick-drying, film-forming compactness and strength, improve gloss, improve early water resistance, and improve the interlayer adhesion of the paint, improves the corrosion resistance of the anticorrosive paint.

And it has the advantages of C5 petroleum resin and C9 petroleum resin, with excellent compatibility with a wide range of polymers and thermoplastic elastomers, especially EVA, SBS, SIS. Widely used in adhesive, road marking paints, high-grade paints coatings, rubber tire etc.

It is a kind of thermal plasticizing hydrocarbon resin produced by C5, C9 fraction, by-products of petroleum cracking, through pretreatment, polymerization and distillation. It is not a high polymer but a low polymer with the molecular weight between 300-3000. Generally, the petroleum resins are not used independently, but have to be used together with other kinds of resins as promoters, adjusting agents and modifiers in hot-melt adhesive, pressure-sensitive adhesive, hot melt road marking paint,[2] rubber tires and so on.

Packing in 200KG/IBC

The recommended storage condition is 0-35℃, and the shelf life is 6 months from the production date.

Usage

Mainly use in hot melt adhesive pressure adhesive sealant as tackifier, or use in rubber, tire and plastic modified as tackifier and processing aids, also can use in coating and hot melt road marking printing as auxiliary etc.
