Introduction:

The Nissan LD series of automobile diesel engines was produced from 1967 through 1986 in both inline-four and inline-six configurations ranging from

2.0 L to 2.8 L. The LD engine is a diesel version of the Nissan L engine.

The LD20 engine available in turbo and non turbo versions. The I version produced 64 HP (48 kW), later II versin 66 HP (49 KW).

The turbo version has 78 HP (58 kW).
