1. Stainless Steel Pleated Candle Filter Description

Candle filter element looks like a candle in shape and is mainly used for oil filtration, polyester filtration, water treatment equipment, pharmacy factory, chemical filtration, etc. It is composed of many filter elements and one piece of the magnetic element with the same size which efficiently increases the filtration area. The filter media is woven wire cloth. It has characters like small resistance loss of pressure, high strength, repeatably washable, backwash, etc. PFM filter elements are connected with the fixed disk by bolting or thread. It can be disassembled and conveniently mounted and washed. PFM special candle filter element designs are for efficient filtration while guaranteeing adherence of the filter cake to the surface.

The supportive inner layer is fabricated of galvanized perforated sheet metal. Galvanized wire mesh is pleated to support the filter media. For more rigorous applications, the second layer of wire mesh is placed on the outside of the pleated filter media for backwashing environments. Filter media are available in a variety of micron ratings and efficiencies. Commonly used are polyester felts, woven wire mesh or sintered metal.
