The problem is that the motor power density or power per unit mass is lower than that of the hydraulic system. It also needs the gear and worm to amplify the torque, and the DC transmission loss is large. The AC frequency conversion is also not easy to realize and is not waterproof.

In addition, both of them face the problem of low battery capacity and output power, so some products use oil machines instead.
