Features Of Gravity Casting

• High dimensional accuracy, usually It12-It16; Less surface roughness; Machining allowance relatively small.

• One-type multi-casting not only saves the materials and equipment needed for modeling, but also omits many processing processes, thus greatly improving the production efficiency and facilitating automatic production.

• The higher thermal capacity and thermal conductivity of the metal mold and the faster cooling rate of the metal liquid make the mechanical properties of the metal mold castings better, and the density of the microstructure and average grain refinement higher.

• Due to the rapid cooling rate of the metal mold, it is easy to cause the surface of the casting blank, which increases the difficulty of cutting. However, the heat conductivity coefficient of the metal mold is large, which makes the mold in the processing environment poor permeability, and the resulting parts do not yield. The gold property is not suitable for the production of thin - walled castings with large size and complex shape.
