The sight glass is used to indicate:
1. Refrigerant status of refrigerant in the liquid line
2. The water content in the refrigerant
3. Flow condition of the lubricating oil in the return line from the oil separator
4. SG1 / N / H and SGR1 / N / H sight glasses with an indicator, by changing the color to indicate the refrigerant in the water content

Liquid& Moisture Indicator

Indicator is used to indicate the condition of the refrigerant in the plant liquid line, the moisture content in the refrigerant and the flow in the oil return line from the oil separator.

• The SGI, SGN, SGR, SGRI or SGRN can be used for CFC, HCFC and HFC refrigerants

• The SGI and SGN are fitted with an indicator which changes colour to show the moisture content in the refrigerant.

• The SGR is used to indicate the liquid level in a receiver or the oil level in a compressor crankcase.

• The SGRN and SGRI is a sight glass like SGR, but supplied with a moisture indicator.

• The moisture indicator in the sight glasses are dirt repelling.
